The first grade spelling bee contestants!

Dear Parents,

We had a great time during Catholic School Week! Thank you for all of your donations! You can check out some pictures below from the week. Here are the reminders for this week:

- There will be a math test on skip counting and even and odd numbers on Thursday.

- If you would like to sign up for a second slot to mystery read please feel free to do so! You can find the link under the Mystery Reader tab.

- We will have a spelling and reading test on Friday. These spelling words are tougher so please be sure to review at home!

- Looking ahead, there is no school on Friday, February 16th and Monday, February 19th.

Valentine's Day info:

     - please have all valentines sent to school no later than Tuesday, February 13th.  Candy or small gifts are both okay! We will be having our party of Thursday, February 15th due to Ash Wednesday falling on Valentine's Day.

Spelling Words: splash, split, strap, stretch, squid, squint, sprint, spring

Math

We finish up with skip counting by 2s, 5s and 10s and work with even and odd numbers. We will have a test on Thursday.
