Week of 2/24

Last week we loved using venn diagrams to compare different animals that we read about in our story!

Dear Parents,

I hope you had a nice weekend.  This is a busy week! We will start a new unit in reading and math and we will begin to review for the Terra Nova tests that will be taken in the end of March. Here are your other reminders:

- In Religion, we have been talking about Jesus and the miracles he performed. For homework this week, I am asking the kids to pick their favorite miracle story and write a few sentences about it. More information and directions were sent home today in their Home folders.

- Information about the Leprechaun Trap Project will be sent home today! We read a story about how to trap a tricky leprechaun and talked about some ideas of how to create a trap. Please let me know if you have any questions. Traps will be due on St. Patrick's Day. Google will give you plenty of ideas!

- The kids will bring home a new reading workbook tonight that goes with the stories for the second half of the year.

- There will be a Math test tomorrow on 1 and 10 more/less. Please complete the review sheet for homework tonight.

- We will celebrate Ash Wednesday with Mass at 9:00 am. Hope you can join us!

Have a great week!
