Week of 3/20

Mrs. DeLisi came to read to us last week!

Dear Parents,

Happy Terra Nova week! We will be taking different parts of the test each day. Please follow the schedule that was sent home. I told the kids that they should be in bed by 8:30pm at the absolute latest! Please make sure they eat a healthy breakfast and pack a healthy snack for recess. These little things really do make a difference. Here are a few reminders:

- If you did not send in the letter for Terra Novas to your child please send one in tomorrow!!

- Please make sure the kids have a few sharpened #2 pencils each day for the test.

- There will be no homework or tests this week! Getting to bed early should be easier this way! :)

Week of 3/13

We were surprised this week by Mrs. Seeger, Fiona's older sister,  Tara , and her niece  Katherine!

Dear Parents,

I can't believe we are in the last trimester of the year! The year is flying by. Here are your reminders for this week:

- Even though the kids should be completing their homework by themselves at this point in the year, I ask that you still check it each night. Each morning I check to see if homework is completed and I often see mistakes. If you could please check and make sure your child is completing everything correctly that would be great. If you think they are having trouble understanding a concept or how to do something please let me and I will review it with them in school.

- We will continue reviewing for the Terra Nova tests that will be taken next week.  A schedule and some tips for taking standardized tests will be sent home this week. Attached to the schedule will be a blank letter. I ask that you please write your child an encouraging note that they will read Monday morning before we start the tests. This will hopefully calm any nerves that they may have. Please send the letter in by Friday at the latest. Thanks for your help with this :).

- Go Run starts Thursday.

- There will be a Religion test on Friday on Chapter 12. A study guide will be sent home.

- There is a Dress Down Day on Friday. Please send in $1.00 to dress down.

That is all for now!
