Week of May 25th

Dear Parent/s,

I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend and are well rested for the last three busy weeks of school! Thank you to all who came to see the first grade put on the monthly mass last week. The mass was beautiful and the children did a fantastic job! Here are your reminders for our last week of full days (can you believe it)?!

- We will wrap up our reading and math units this week and begin working on reviewing for exams.

- Exam study guides and a schedule will be sent home today. We will be completing the same study guides in school all week but I wanted to send home an extra copy for you to have. Feel free to fill it out with your child as extra practice or use it however you want. These do not need to be turned back in to me. If you have any questions please let me know.

- We will have our last spelling test this Friday.

- We will have our Chapter 16 Religion test on Friday as well. The kids will be expected to know all seven sacraments.

- This is the last week for hot lunch. The only thing that will be sold next week in the cafeteria is water. Please be sure to send your child in with a lunch and a snack next Monday and Tuesday. Half days begin Wednesday, June 3rd.

- Don't forget next Tuesday, June 2nd will be "Donuts with Dudes."

- Our class won a free Dress Down day for collecting the most soda can tabs (a special thanks to Stella Scott and family!). The kids voted for the DD day to be next Tuesday, June 2nd.

- This will be the last week for Mystery Reader. I still need a volunteer! If you can do it please let me know. Thanks!

That's all for now!

Miss Tosti
