3. Discuss how Easter is a time to celebrate new life! Make a connection between Easter, the season of Spring and new life. In Spring, there is so much new life like plants, flowers, baby animals etc.
4. Have your child go outside and look for signs of new life!

Reading
1. Journal - Write a story about a thunderstorm in April. Where were you? What did it sound like? How did you feel?
1. Write the date at the top of the page: April 17, 2020
3. Complete Color My Words
4. Read "Tomas Rivera" to sibling, parent, pet, stuffed animal, or you can even call someone and read it to them!
5. Watch this VIDEO to complete "Sundae Sequencing" worksheet. You will need scissors and a glue stick.
Math
1. Take your math test. If you could take a picture and email or text it to me that would be great!

2. Color pictures from Easter Sunday and cut them out. * NOTE PAPER ATTACHED IN EMAIL FROM 4/5!
3. Fold the pictures on the lines so they stand up. You can put them on a piece of construction paper (or any paper) and draw a background scene or you can make a diorama if you want!
4. Have your child act out the scene from Easter when the woman arrived at Jesus' tomb and saw that he was risen!
