Week of March 16th

Dear Parent/s,

This week we will celebrate St. Patrick's Day with our leprechaun traps! Please send them in tomorrow. Students may accessorize their school uniforms with green to celebrate. If you would like to come look at the traps feel free to stop by after 2:15 pm.  Here are a few reminders:

- The third trimester begins today.

- Report Cards will be given out Tuesday. If you have any questions/concerns or would like to meet please don't hesitate to email me.

- We will take the spelling and reading test for "At Home in the Ocean" on Friday.

- I will send home a schedule of the Terra Nova tests that we will be taking next week.

Math

This week we will focus on time, money and Terra Nova review.  Please continue to study and memorize math facts. The kids should really be trying not use their fingers anymore. There are countless websites and apps that they can use to help them memorize them.

We will continue to do timed math, however the amount of time to complete the 60 problems will go down. Please make sure your child is studying their facts each night. There are a ton of apps and websites that they can used to practice!
