Week of September 22

Dear Parent/s,

Last week flew by and October is quickly approaching. We have some fun activities planned for the next coming weeks! Here are some reminders:

- The first grade will be going to Highland Orchards on Monday, September 29th. We will leave school at 9:00 am and return to school at 2:00 pm. Permission forms and money must be returned to school no later than Thursday, September, 25th. Your child needs to bring a brown bag lunch (no glass bottles please) for the trip. If your child ordered lunch that day we will send it home with them at the end of the day. Sorry for the inconvenience.

- October is the month of the Holy Rosary and we will begin to say a decade each week. Please send a set of rosary beads in with your child by Monday, September 29th.

-  Please continue to practice Magic Words each night and to read for 15 minutes.

- I would love to have Mystery Readers (Thursday from 2:00-2:30) for October 9th, 16th and 23rd. Please email me if any of these dates work for you!

- First in Math logins will be given out this week. They will be taped to your child's home folder. Please try to have them play a few times a week.

Have a great week!

Miss Tosti
