Week of 11/16

Dear Parents,

This is our last full week before the Thanksgiving Break and our last full week of the first trimester! The school year is flying by. This week we will start a new story and have a test in math and religion. Here are the reminders:

- First grade is getting workbooks! If you could please send in cash or check (payable to SKS) this week it would be greatly appreciated. The cost is $21.00. You can also use Online Pay found on the school website or click here: http://sksschoolwaynepay.3dcartstores.com/ . Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this.

- Don't forget to send in soda can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House! Also, if your child would like to send a Turkey-Telegram they can buy one ($1) all of this week. Proceeds go to the Travis Manion Foundation.

- Test folders will be sent home today. Please sign and return all test by tomorrow. Thanks!

- We will have a math test on addition on Thursday. This will be on adding using a number line and ten frames. It will also include adding three addends and doubles.

- We will have a Religion test on Chapter 4 on Friday. A study guide will be sent home.

- Please make sure you are working on the math fact flash cards each night. The kids should be starting to memorize the 1 and 2 facts without using their fingers.

Have a great week!

Miss Tosti
