Week of 9/28

Dear Parent/s,

I hope everyone enjoyed the days off for the World Meeting of Families and the Holy Father's visit to Philadelphia. It was really momentous occasion! Now it is time to get back into the swing of school! October is going to be a busy month. Here are the reminders for this week:

- Please be sure to check your child's home folder and behavior calendar each night.

- Since we do not have workbooks yet, I will be sending home reading and math packets for homework. A page (sometimes 2) is to be completed each night and returned the next day to be checked. Please do not keep the packets home until Friday. If you would like to go ahead you may, just please return it every day so I can check. Thank you!

- Permission forms for our field trip next Friday, October 9th will be sent home this week. Please send them back in a labeled envelope as soon as possible. Thanks!

- We will have our first Reading test this Friday on the story "Jack and the Wolf." The kids will also be tested on their first 10 Magic Words. Please be sure to review them each night.
