I hope you and your families had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed the nice break! Time to get in the Christmas spirit! We have a busy week so please be sure to read all of the reminders.
- We will be attending the play "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" tomorrow at Carroll High School.
- On Wednesday, we will be going to Santa's Secret Workshop in the afternoon. Forms will be sent home today. Please fill them out and include the amount money you would like to spend on each person.
- Friday we will celebrate our monthly mass. All are welcome to join us at 9:00 am.
- There will be no school on Monday, December 8th.
- Mark your calendar for Wednesday, December 10th for the K-4 Christmas Show! The show will begin at 7:00 pm. More information will be sent home next week!

Religion
We will complete a chapter on Advent this week and focus on how Advent is the time that prepares us for the coming of Jesus.
Reading
Story: How Animals Communicate
Target Skill: Main Idea
Phonics Skill: short i and blends with -r (br, cr, dr, gr, tr)
Grammar Skill: Parts of a sentence (subject and predicate)
Math
This week we will begin our unit on subtraction. We will continue to do timed math with our addition facts so please keep practicing! We will begin to make our subtraction flash cards as well.
