Week of 1/2

We did some fun Christmas STEM activities last week!


Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a great break! Thank you so much for your generous Christmas gifts. The entire faculty and staff truly appreciate your kindness and generosity. This week we will be working at getting back into our normal routine in reading, math and homework! 

Here are your reminders for this week:

- There will be a reading and spelling test on Friday.

- Looking ahead: Picture retakes will be next Thursday, January 12th.
                            No school Monday, January 16th for MLK Day.

Grammar: Statements and Commands
Magic Words: hold, been, brown, know, never, off, out, own, very, good, full, friend
Spelling Words: chin, chop, much, rich, cheer, three, beach, teach

Math
We will start our unit on number sense and review ordering numbers, find the number that comes before, after or between and start learning how to compare numbers using the <, > and = symbols.
