Week of 11/11

Dear Parents,

Happy Veteran's Day! Today talked about how lucky we are to live in a country where our loved ones volunteer and risk their lives to protect each of us.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to meet with me at conferences. Communication between the teacher and parents is crucial to the success of your child and I appreciate you giving up your time.
The kids have already grown so much since September and it is exciting to see their reading skills develop and grow. We will start learning long vowel patterns next week when we start a new reading unit! Here are your reminders for the week:

- There will be a short math test tomorrow on adding 3 numbers and related facts. A study guide will be sent home today.

- Our Monthly Mass for November will be on Wednesday at 9:00 am. All are welcome!

- On Wednesday, we will also be filling the shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. A flyer was sent home last week with ideas of what to buy. Please send those in by Wednesday. Thanks for your support!

- There will be a Reading test and a Spelling test on Friday.

- On Friday, we will go over to the gym and watch the dress rehearsal of SKS Got Talent. Parents are welcome to come watch too!

Have a great week!

Miss Tosti
