Week of 4/4

Dear Parents,

I hope you everyone had a great weekend!  We will get back in our normal routine this week with homework and tests. Here are your reminders:

- There will be a collection for Cradles to Crayons from April 6th-10th. You can drop off gently used items in the pod that will be located behind the cafeteria. Thanks for your help!

- There will be a dress down on Friday for NET Team Ministries. Please send in $1.00 to dress down.

- There will be a reading and spelling test on Friday this week.

- If you would like to mystery read in April please let me know. I need readers for the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.

Math

We began our unit on money last week and will continue with it this week. We will learn to identify and count with pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Counting change with mixed coins can be tricky so any practice you could do at home would be beneficial. Please continue to practice counting by 2s, 5s and 10s at home and continue to study math facts each night.
