Week of 2/22

Dear Parents,

This week we will finish up reviewing for the Terra Nova test so we are prepared to take them next week. A schedule and some tips for test taking will be sent home later this week. We have a pretty normal week planned so here are your reminders:

- We will start our last story in Unit 3 this week. Please be sure to review spelling and Magic Words each night.

- We will take the Terra Nova practice test on Thursday this week.

- There will be a Religion test on Friday. A study guide will be sent home.

- There will be a math quiz on 10 more/less on Friday.

- Test folders will be sent home tomorrow. Please sign and return them on Wednesday.

Religion

We will finish up Chapter 10 "Jesus Sends the Holy Spirit." There will be a test on Friday

Grammar: the verb be
Magic Words: bird, both, eyes, fly, long, or, those, walk, they, sing, does, all

Spelling Words: time, bike, like, white, kite, drive, they, sing, does, all

Math

We will finish reviewing Adding/Taking away 10 from numbers and will have a quiz on it on Friday. We will also keep reviewing counting by 2s, 5s and 10s and review for the upcoming Terra Nova test.
