Finally back to a full week of school! It will be nice to get back into our normal routine, at least until Thanksgiving hits! We do have a busy week so here are the reminders:
- Dress down day on Monday, November 10th for Speak Up. Please bring in $1.00 to dress down.
- Our November monthly Mass will be on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:00 in the Church. All are welcome to join us!
- During the month of November we will be collecting soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Please send them in ziplock bags. Thanks!
- We will have a timed doubles fact quiz on Friday.

A Peek at Our Week!
Religion
We will begin Chapter 5 "Jesus Teaches Us About God's Love." We will talk about how Jesus went around and spread the good news about God. We will also focus on learning God's two most important commandments.
Reading
Story: Jack and the Wolf
Target Skill: Understanding characters
Phonics Skill: short a and consonant -ck
Grammar Skill: Complete sentences
Math
This week we will review adding three addends. We will continue to practice our double facts. We will also learn how to recognize "doubles plus one" ( 2+3=5..using 2+2= 4 and add 1 to get 5).
