Week of 2/27

Congrats to our 2nd trimester Peacemaker, Jake!

Dear Parents,

Can you believe it is March? This week we will finish up the story, "Let's Go to the Moon" and have our test on Friday. We will also start working with money and learn to identify and count coins. Please make sure you send your child in with coins so they can practice!

Here are the reminders for this week:

- If you did not send in coins with your child, please do so ASAP! (4 quarters, 10 dimes, 20 nickels and 25 pennies).

- Test folders will be sent home Tuesday. Please sign and return on Wednesday!

- There will be a Reading and Spelling test on Friday.

-Leprechaun trap information as sent home last week! Google has some great example of traps! Students are asked to bring the traps in on Friday, 3/17! Please do not send in before because we have limited space in the classroom! If you have any questions please let me know! Happy building!

We will begin our unit on money this week! We will learn to identify the coins and how much they are worth and practice counting. If you practice at home remember to start counting with the coins and that are worth the most!
