Week of 2/1

We loved going on a Long O word hunt!

Dear Parents,

It was nice to have a full week last week, especially with the snow storm this week! Hopefully we will be back in school tomorrow! I am still planning on having the reading and spelling testsvthis week, so please keep studying at home. Here are your important reminders for the week:

- Valentine's Day info: 

         - please have all valentines sent to school no later than Monday, February 8th.  No candy is permitted.

        -  wear your pajamas or dress down in red and pink for our party on Thursday, February 11th.

- Test folders will be sent home on Wednesday. Please sign and return on Thursday.

- There will be a spelling and reading test on Friday this week.

- Some special Catholic Schools Week notes:

                    * Send in canned goods all week! 

                    * Talent Show videos and SKS Spiritwear family pictures due to Mrs. Sevag by the 5th                         (jsevag@sksschool.org)

                  Monday (2/8) - dress down (no charge) in orange for the Rainbow Prayer Service.

                  Tuesday (2/2) - Crazy 8's Day - accessorize your school uniform with 8 items (shoes, jewelry, socks, hats, sunglasses etc)!

                  No school on Friday, 2/12 and Monday 2/15!

We will continue practicing skip counting by 10s, 5s and 2s! We will focus on counting backwards this week and also start learning about odd and even numbers.
